Yes, i can confirm that . Hence, G lodge.
It was very tasty. But frozen Hash Browns, were good. But would have been better if fresh.
Awesome service, so friendly and homey. The breakfast sandwiches are great!
This place never fails to impress. They serve fresh food for affordable prices, there are no long waits even when the spot is busy.
Yall get the berry crepes when you go. Amazing 10/10 will eat again. I was like 5 bites into these amazing wonderful ricotta filled crepes when I snapped this picture. Fast service, great staff, AMAZING CREPES.
It's a hometown restaurant with fresh prepared food everyone's lunch and breakfast was great.
Great little spot. Delicious food, friendly staff, and cozy atmosphere. Cash only.
Small and charming. Attentive servers, no frills but great food! G Lodge is cash only but has an ATM on site :)
Great good reasonable prices good down home cooked breakfast quaint little spot.
Tiny place. Great food. Right sized portions. Friendly staff
Waiter was grumpy but food was good lol anyone who reads this I hope u have a great day
Came here because of the review on Google. Overall, food was good. We ordered crepes, fried eggs and the French toast. All very good. The only thing lacking was the attitude of the lady serving the table. Very gruff- as it was a bother doing her job. Forgot my bread- and then instead of getting them immediately, spent 5 minutes talking to another lady on another table. I gathered that the toast was in the toaster and she had time to spend, but eventually the toast was out and cooling but the server was still talking to this other lady. My eggs were cold by this time. I can imagine, people forget, I do. And people apologise or at least show some concern- in her case she splattered some butter on the bread and almost threw them on the table. She was friendly with the other tables. Not busy at all - around 12 noon, only 4 tables - less than 10 people in the whole place. Waiting to see what the cheeky defensive remark will be on the owner.
Great food and friendly service
Prices are average plus. The orange juice (from a machine) is overpriced (over $3 for a large). They accept cash only. Staff is friendly. Attentiveness of service is hit or miss. Had an omelette which was very good. Also, the home fries are freshly done and not greasy. They use real butter. Bathrooms are clean. Entire place has a unique style and is low key. When I went, it was very hot outside and I dressed for such weather. Personally, I was too cold inside the restaurant.
Nice place. Cool historic building. Service was alright. The people who came in after us were served first, because they were regulars which is kinda annoying. The food was diner quality. SOS had a nice bit of meat in it. The parking situation is atrocious lol no clearly marked spots, all gravel, cars parked all over the place. The building is also attached to a mechanic, so there’s that.
Great place to eat. Very friendly service. Nice diner style menu. Multiple unusual daily specials (for example, bacon stuffed waffles). The food was delicious, with impeccable service and unique ambiance. Highly recommended.
Best sloppy joes and coffee
First time but won't be the last. Surprising list of inventive specials and great menu. Tables pushed together so you may rub elbows with neighbors
The people who work there are nice and there is a real sense of history at this place. Is not one more sterile franchise
Great price, good food and cool historical look. Sometimes the server seems annoyed but 80% she's good.
I dont know how this place is in business. It just prays on tourist from valley forge I guess. Food was ok but service was slow, wrong order, and the bagel came out without being toasted. To top it off they are a cash only (without any sign) and the ATM charges $3. May I add it's there own ATM. Never going there again.
Great food reasonable prices. Had the bacon stuffed pancakes and they were wonderful.
Old style, doesn't look like much from the outside but inside cozy, comfortable atmosphere and attentive staff. I had a great breakfast. It's a small place, maybe 10-12 tables with old style counter seating. Large old fireplace dominates one wall. It's right off the road, adequate parking, wheelchair accessible but a little tight inside. Give it a try.
Food here is good but the service is lacking something. Never have I felt so uncomfortable. We really so we come back. But that's it. Once we sit we can't wait to get our food and get out as quick as we can because of how we feel.
I’ve been going here since 2005. Never disappoints. The food, the atmosphere and the servers are all great.
Very quaint place. Kind of rustic. Fireplace in the room and the doors to the restrooms were like old fashioned barn doors. We had soup which was homemade, delicious and hearty. Very good food. Reasonable price too.
Really nice atmosphere, super peaceful and great hygge. The food was wonderful diner food it is cash only though but they have a ATM for customers to use. We didn't want to leave but the place is constantly buzzing with people who need seats. The staff works really hard so tip them well.
Cozy. Inviting. Wonderful staff and delicious food. Portions are perfectly sized.
Great home cooked food. Affordable to feed the whole family! Love the historical decor!
Worst place in my life I have ever went. to the owner doesnt care for the place anymore, when they sever me pancakes didn had maple syrup so I asked for some. and when they gave me the maple syrup in little packs it had about 50 dead ants when I pur on my cakes , and when I told them I want to return it they got all mad at me acting like it was my fault , eggs were undercooked , scapple was basically raw. How can you mess up that bad to undercook scrabble, of I could rate this place a -1 I would never go here trust me save your money
Very good food clean friendly I will definitely go back
Great food, quick service.
Absolute gem! Rustic feel and delicious brunch fare! Unbeatable!
The service is regularly quick, good mood, super friendly staff members. I will come back again when I arrive here.
Great little spot for some real food. Friendly people and nice prices.
Really cool building. Not large but it wasn't too crowded. Food was very good. Server wasn't super friendly but not bad either. Had a very nice breakfast and the kids really liked the old building.
The cook, Bob , at the G lodge makes the best eggs Benedict you can find anywhere !!!
Great surprise walking into here for the first time. Did not know about the famous "happening" filmed here before we stopped in on a whim. Quaint place. Very cute setup inside. I ordered the Hawaiian omelet & my husband ordered the 2 eggs special, both with homefries. Our round of toast came out first after our drinks. Everything was very good. We were happy with our decision to stop in here. We will surely do so again.Waitress was very friendly and welcoming. Note: Cash Only. They do have an atm right outside if needed.
Love this restaurant, great hometown feel. Only thing i hate on three visits is there's only one, overwhelmed waitress. Place is very busy, so service is not good. They have two young girls bussing and refilling coffee, but they are not allowed to do anymore.
